For most people a hot tub is a significant investment. As such, it’s important to find the one that best fits your family’s budget and needs.

With a couple more months of winter here in Illinois, now is a great time to research and even take a test soak before you buy. Check out our top tips for finding the perfect spa in our Illinois Hot Tub Buyer’s Guide.

Shop You Local Illinois Hot Tub Dealer First

The most important step in purchasing a hot tub is finding a reputable dealer that provides service and support after the hot tub is delivered.

Some groups travel from city to city selling hot tubs, but as soon as they make the sale, they are gone to the next city. Make sure the business you purchase from provides an in-house warranty and offers advice about how to maintain your hot tub.

Here at Healthy Living Pool & Spa, we are dedicated to service. We are proud to sell only Master Spa Hot Tubs that have the best quality and longevity and we have our own professional service team that provides support after the sale is made.

Research Online, but don’t Purchase Online

We are very proud of our website and the information it contains. We also highly recommend customers research the Master Spas products we sell. You will soon find that our hot tubs are the highest quality and most reputable hot tub manufacturer available on the market.

These hot tubs are built to last!

Since a hot tub is such a significant investment, it’s important that you don’t buy sight unseen. Find a dealer with a showroom that you can actually test out the hot tub before you purchase.

We have many customers who purchase from us after their “drop shipped” hot tub showed up and either weren’t as represented or broke within a year with no customer support.

Feel free to come on by our showroom in Monticello, IL and jump in a hot tub or swim spa.

Don’t Buy Your Spa at the same Store you Buy Dog Food

Stores like Walmart and Costco carry hot tubs. They can even be less expensive. These hot tubs are always very cheaply made and simply aren’t built to last.

They are poorly insulated and are typically very loud.

Just because you might save money at Walmart, you likely won’t come out ahead in the long run when you factor in maintenance, repairs, and the lack of a warranty.

What’s included with the purchase price?

It’s important to ask your dealer what’s included with the hot tub purchase price. Does it include steps, cover, delivery? Some dealers consider delivery simply dropping the hot tub off in your driveway. Some dealers charge an exorbitant amount for a cover. Choose a company who doesn’t have surprise expenses that pop up after you’ve signed the dotted line.

Here at Healthy Living Pool and Spa we a proud to include everything with the listed hot tub price. Yep, that right. Our prices include cover, steps, chemical kit, and delivery right to your pad.

We’re able to keep our prices so competitive by eliminating much of the overhead that other dealer have. We don’t need a $3 million dollar showroom to show off our hot tubs, they speak for themselves. We’re more than happy to pass those cost savings on to you the customer while providing the superior product at the lowest price.
